Today's recipe is not a traditional recipe, as it is semi-homemade, but yummy and cute. Jack made biscuits today and made little tiny ones, and I said " Pair those with chicken nuggets and they would make perfect mini sliders!" We just so happened to have those on hand so that is what we had for lunch today. I do not have a ton of pics this time (which some of you may be saying thank goodness!) as I did not film him making the biscuits, I just took pics after they were made. So here goes, I hope you enjoy!
Ingredients:
Your favorite Biscuit dough ( premixed, homemade, from a can, it does not matter. If using premixed or homemade, roll the dough out on a floured surface so you can use a cutter to cut circles out. )
Chicken nuggets, prepared. ( Again, homemade or store bought, the choice is yours )
Pickle slices in your favorite flavor
Frank's wing sauce ( or condiment of your choice. I also used blue cheese dressing and ranch on mine, Alex used ketchup and mustard. )
Preparation:
As I stated, I did not film Jack making biscuits. He used a recipe off the internet, so just use your favorite recipe, or even from a can. Either way you choose, roll them out on a floured surface so you can cut them into shapes.
Jack used a one inch diameter cookie cutter to cut circles out of the dough, placed them on a parchment covered baking sheet, and baked them at 425 degrees for 12 minutes. Oven times and temps vary, so keep an eye on them.
Prepare nuggets according to package directions, or if using homemade, until done.
Slice your mini biscuits after they cool a bit, being careful not to crumble them.
Place the nuggets on the biscuits.
Add Nectar of the Gods, other wise known as Frank's Red Hot wing sauce.
Top with a pickle slice and any other add on's or condiments of your choosing, like cheese or something.
Top with other half of biscuit and enjoy!
Cute huh? They were very tasty and you could add anything you want to it really. Even though they were small, these three were plenty for me.
So, not your normal recipe, but good and fun none the less. Simple and quick as well! If you make these, I hope you enjoy them!
Thanks for dropping in, and share with your friends if you liked it!
