Music Monday

So I am going to start my own version of Music Monday here on the blog. I relate to song lyrics SO much, and I communicate with music quite often. I am also just a huge fan of music period. If I can find a good video I will post those, actual vids, not the ones on youtube that have like a slideshow set to music. If I can not find that I will post lyrics, and a link to those lyrics that has a little player on it so you can hear the songs usually. Today my obsession is on Alice Cooper songs I have not heard in forever. I am a massive Alice fan, and at one time I had every album he ever released, even some on vinyl! I am choosing a more obscure song today called "Your Own Worst Enemy" because I feel that a lot of people make their lives harder than they need to be. Hope you enjoy!

Lyrics to Your Own Worst Enemy :
(Alice Cooper, Ryan Roxie)

You're your own worst enemy
You're a walking catastrophe

You get up every morning on the wrong side of the bed
You butter your hand instead of the bread
Drink enough coffee to wake the dead.

You're doing 85 and the light is turning red
The judge took your license and forbid you to drive
And your heart is pumping bacon and you're barely alive

You're your own worst enemy
You're a walking catastrophe
You're at war with yourself and nobody else
You're a danger. You're a danger

You trip on your shoelace and fall on your face
Your hair is a mess, your clothes a disgrace
Your stocks went south and your girlfriend is gay
Your dog ate your cat and that was your good day

You're your own worst enemy
You're a walking catastrophe
You're at war with yourself and nobody else
You're a danger

You're your own worst enemy
You're a walking catastrophe
You're at war with yourself and nobody else
You're a danger. You're a danger
To every stranger
You're a mess
Yes, yes

I could not find a good vid, so I went with lyrics today. Here is the link to the little player where you can listen if you like!

I really like Alice Cooper. I don't know very many of his songs, just the popular ones. One of my favs is "Poison" though- love that song!

I love Alice Cooper! I used to have all of his albums too. It's been a long time since I listened though.
